"We have a wind sock on the back porch and it is as good as the weatherman for telling us the temperature. Yesterday we had a strong wind from the south and it nearly reached 90 degrees. Today the sock is showing strong winds from the north and it is downright cold out there.
We will enjoy a few weeks of dramatically fluctuating spring temps before the relentless heat of the long hot summer."
