"We were recalling our 1960s high school days. At our rural Wisconsin school, I don't remember any parents regularly driving kids to school--we all either walked or took the bus--the "town kids" were all within walking distance, even through most of winter, and the "farm kids" were relatively few. Ah, small-town life."
