A new survey from Gallup/Healthways lists some of the safest cities to walk in at night. Check these out.

- Boulder
- Honolulu
- Sioux Falls
Unfortunately, I notice one place on the list of the most unsafe cities to live in is one I lived in. McAllen/Edinburg, Texas.
I must say I walked to work at 4:30 every morning, before the sun was up, for several years and the only time I was "attacked" it was a pack of dogs. Take it from me, unlike humans, if you want to stop a pack of dogs in their tracks, stand your ground and let them know you're not afraid. Run and you're dead meat!
