SNOW ENCOMPASSES MUCH OF THE REGION ALONG AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 94 AND CONTINUES TO INTENSIFY.

NUMEROUS AUTOMATED OBSERVING SYSTEMS ALONG AND  WEST OF THE MS RIVER ARE REPORTING VISIBILITIES AROUND 1 MILE OR LESS.

IN ADDITION.REPORTS OF 1 INCH PER HOUR SNOWFALL RATES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED IN THE VICINITY OF ROCHESTER AND WINONA MN.

EXPECT THE SNOW TO CONTINUE TO INTENSIFY AND SLOWLY SPREAD EASTWARD THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.

ANY TRAVEL BETWEEN ROCHESTER AND LA CROSSE MAY BECOME VERY DIFFICULT BY 7 AM.

SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 INCH PER HOUR VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS ARE POSSIBLE. BETWEEN 5 AM AND NOON.

PLAN ON SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ALONG AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 94 AND 1 TO 4 INCHES TO THE NORTH AND  EAST OF INTERSTATE 94.

AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON.  HIGHEST OVER SW WI. THERE ARE GOING TO BE SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS TO TRAVEL.BECOMING DANGEROUS TO IMPOSSIBLE IN MANY LOCATIONS.
