A holiday recognized by the United Nations, International Mother Language Day is a day to celebrate the awareness of linguistic diversity.
It's a day to remember that, whether you like it or not, we now live in an international world and nothing will ever change that. Any child, today, that speaks only one language will have one strike against him or her right from the start.
