AN OBSERVATION FROM DONNIE
"Yesterday we toured a new mall, Linda delaying considerably in Urban Outfitters (a clothing and gadget store for young people, though they tolerate the occasional elderly shoppers).
I noticed extensive displays featuring the cheap film cameras that are now the rage, and vinyl records and turntable phonographs. The young clerk noticed my interest and approached to tell me she had just bought a film camera, and how neat it is.
So, we now have at least one generation so entirely raised on digital everything that film cameras and 33 rpm records are super cool.
Round and round we go, in a spin....
