It was on January 11, 1878 that the New York Dairy started delivering milk door to door. Of course, you have to be 90 years old to even remember door to door milk delivery. I say that because I'm 71 and I don't remember us ever getting milk deliveries.
By the way, in merry old England, they had to wait until 1880 for the Express Dairy Company to start delivering milk and they delivered it four times a day! I can't imagine anyone needing four bottles a milk a day, but, there you have it!
