THE GLOBES

Donnie said, "Of the several dozen faces of Golden Globe winners only 9 looked familiar to me and I could only name 5."

He did better than I did.  I had never heard of any of the TV shows they talked about and, maybe one or two of the movies.

I didn't see the show last year but the host, who made all the headlines, was back this year.  I didn't know who he was then and I still don't know who he is but why he made headlines I have no idea.  He was about as interesting and funny as a blank wall.

I suffered through a half hour, or so, and then turned the TV off.  The blank screen was the best thing I saw all evening.
