Rita and I stayed in a grass hut like the one you see in the picture. A Kuna Indian guide paddled us "out to sea" in a canoe just like this one.
The canoe is a delightful experience near the shore in the calm waters. When you get away from the shore and head into waves as high as a house..."delightful" doesn't describe the feeling of terror.
