A LETTER FROM LYNNE

We have 62 degrees right now, partly cloudy, and windy. Not complaining with weather like this although I prefer no wind.

We had three huge oak trees downed professionally and our neighbor came and sawed/split the wood to take to his home which will be about 2 1/2 years of heating by wood.  Surely looks better.

Most of our trees in the Ridge are over 100 years old so they can’t live forever.  What a dangerous job for these men and very happy no one in our family does it, but I did love watching them.  We only have a couple patches of snow/ice left now.  Should be gone by the end of the day.

Would you believe, I was just looking out our sliding glass door and a tree split and the upper half fell to the ground so now our neighbor will have more wood to split.

Bob is very lucky as he just was outside in the area where the tree fell.  Guess no one should walk in the woods when this windy.

Bob is talking with his mom now.  He just came in and she is doing fine but said the food and coffee was brought cold.  I have told her every time I talk to her to just call them back in and tell them she must have her food and coffee HOT.  Bob told her to tell them too.
