Boy, does this bring back memories. I checked out the DEADWOOD FACEBOOK PAGE and spotted this great old picture of the Franklin Hotel. It took me back to a cold and snowy night in February of 1959 when I arrived in Deadwood the first time to begin my radio career.
I spent my first night, in town, here, at the Franklin, and, by coincidence, ended up living in an apartment right behind the historic hotel which is still going strong and, probably, in better shape than I am.
