HERE'S AN INTERESTING PIECE OF TRIVIA FROM THE SMITHSONIAN

A compact disc holds over an hour of music.  Wanna know why?  When the disc was first being created it was decided it should hold enough data to put Beethoven's Ninth Symphony on one disc.  That symphony runs more than an hour.  In the LP days it took 3 sides to transcribe the entire symphony.  Now one disc will do it.  Thanks to Ludwig.
