Things are going much better this morning.

I was able to get the coffee made without fighting with the coffee maker.  I let the dogs out to do their thing as soon as brewing began.  Within minutes they were back at the door wanting to get in.  They've each had a "treat" and are now taking a nap before breakfast.

Sometimes I wish I was a dog.
