HOLIDAY

Congress passed the Social Security Act on August 14, 1935.  These days, it would, probably, be more accurate to call it the Social not-so-Security Act.  In any event, we've been celebrating  senior citizens day on August 14 ever since.  As you can see, I'm wearing my shirt and I expect some damn respect.

Of course, there's always some young whippersnapper who comes along with a smart-ass comment about us older folks.  A good example was a young man, on Twitter, who said, "I'm all for Senior Citizens working but I draw the line at prostitution."

The way things are going, we may have to turn to that.
